All cutting work is performed automatically, according to the drawing. The basis for cutting is the drawing of the part, which is provided by the Customer in electronic form, in .dxf format. This file includes only the part outline; points, dimension and extension lines, explanations, chamfers, bend lines are absent.

Laser cutting of pipe metal allows you to cut complex configurations on a pipe.

Pipe parameters:

  • Round pipe diameter – from 20 to 160 mm
  • Profile pipe size – from 20×20 mm to 110×110 mm
  • Wall thickness 1-5 mm
  • Material – black steel or stainless steel.
  • The basis for cutting is the drawing of the part provided by the Customer in electronic form, in .igs format.

Sheet metal bending is a technological operation that allows you to give a new three-dimensional shape to a flat workpiece. Metal bending is carried out only due to plastic deformation of the material. Metal bending occurs by compressing some and stretching other layers of the part.

Bending parameters:

  • Bending stainless steel, ferrous metal, aluminum, metal alloys.
  • Workpiece thickness: 0.5 – 5 mm.
  • Workpiece length: up to 3 m.

Part borings – .pdf format, also preferably a 3D model, indicating dimensions, maximum deviations, allowances for further processing.

The file name must indicate the material, sheet thickness and number of parts.

Example:
Part_st3_4mm_2pcs.dxf.
The drawing for each part is provided as a separate file.
A part is meant as a closed external contour, inside of which holes or openings are located.< br>The part and the laser-cut holes have the size specified in the drawing.

For metal provided by the Customer, clarification of the alloy grade is necessary. In some cases, a material sample is needed to set up the laser machine (cut quality). If the model contains elements such as markings, engravings, replacement of threaded or small holes with dots, reflection of individual elements or parts, this must be indicated in the accompanying document.
Please note that the surface of the sheet must have a metallic sheen without rust.

Types of laser treatment

1. Using oxygen. In this case, the cutting is done at low pressure. The treatment is suitable for low carbon metals. The main conditions for successful operation are high oxygen purity to minimize slag adhesion and low thermal conductivity of the alloy to achieve the concentrated heating.

2. Using nitrogen. This method is suitable for all types of sheet metals, including the non-ferrous ones. The work is carried out under high pressure, the method is essential for steels that do not response in a proper way to oxidation. With the help of nitrogen, the drawings can be cut out on the workpieces, as well as complex parts, this method is also called artistic.
